The holidays can bring both joy and heightened stress, particularly for those impacted by domestic violence. With federal funding for the nation's domestic violence services at risk, support for our community is needed now more than ever. These challenges affect women, men, and children alike, leaving families vulnerable at a critical time.

Let’s turn concern into hope. We are thrilled to announce the return of Robert DiRoma Jr., LMSW, LADC, who will share practical tools and strategies to help us find emotional balance and make positive choices this season.

Join this important conversation at the Darien Library. Together, we can support each other and build a healthier, stronger community.

RESPECTWORKS

Respectworks, a group of Darien high school aged students (private & home schooled included), are mentored and sponsored by the Darien Domestic Abuse Council. Respect Works meets once a month during the school year.

The students are educated on awareness, and prevention of domestic abuse in the community by providing education on domestic violence and the services available to victims as well as their families through programs and events, and to foster positive interpersonal relationships in the community.

The Respectworks program also offers training, social and emotional connections by hosting guest speakers, activities, and round table discussions.
